Katie is moving!

So Katie has decided it's better to move than to stay in one spot or try to roll everywhere. Katie has learned to pull herself up and stand, although she doesn't stay standing for long.

She is also kinda crawling she gets up on her knees then launches forward onto her belly.

As most babies do she loves her reflection very much, she will "kiss" it whenever possible.

We love the mountains and water!

Friday afternoon we went for a hike up little cottonwood canyon. It was nice to be outside we took dinner with us and went by a water fall where John could climb around.
John climbing.Katie and me in our sun hats, no sunburns for us!John up on a big rock.
Me and Katie watching the water fall. Katie enjoyed the sound of the flowing water.

Saturday we opened Katie's little frog pool and her swim suit. We also brought out bath toys to play with. She had a a lot of fun.
We are glad summer is here!

Fathers day is on the way!

Happy fathers day to the Grandpas!
Katie and Grandpa Nolan
I've always looked up to my Dad and valued his advice, he has been a great example to me of how to live according to the gospel. He is a wonderful Grandpa and can calm his grandchildren like no one else. I love him very much as does little Katie!Katie and Grandpa Hughes
Johns dad is always willing to come help us with whatever we need and is also a well of information. He is also great with kids and is wonderful with little Katie, he gets down on the floor to play with her and she loves it!
Katie and Great-Grandpa Memmott
Although we don't make it down to Scipio as often as we'd like, when we do we love being with Grandpa Jay. Katie loves following Great grandpa as he does his chores, the cows are very interesting!

Blog stalker.

I like to look at blogs. It has become a favorite past time to look at the links on others blogs to find other people that I know. While I was doing this a few minutes ago what happened, but I came across a blog asking any blog stalkers looking at their blog to reveal themselves. So I did and thought as a blogger I would reveal my self on my own blog. Many of the links to other blogs I have on our blog I have found this way. I hope to reveal my self on blogs I tend to frequent and I will add links to these blogs for the benefit of others like me. If you are like me and have come across my blog please let me know!
Is it ok if we don't call me a stalker though?

Sick of it!

We have all been sick for about a week. Yup even little Katie, we all have been runny, stuffy, coughing, and tired. I really hope we are all never sick at the same time again. Katie got it first then me and John last. Katie has a little cough left, my nose and ears feel a bit clogged, John has a cough, sore throat and occasional fever. John came home from work early Friday, didn't go in today and plans to stay home tomorrow. This is the worst cold ever. Watching Katie has made me sad poor girl, today she's been happy though. I'll post again about happy things when feeling better.
