St. Patty's day 2012

We made a leprechaun trap for St. Patty's day but didn't catch one, we did have one stop by and leave us some chocolate gold coins though!

The girls with their leprechaun trap!

Hair Cuts March 17, 2012

Our girls don't have very fast growing hair so Katie had only had one hair cut a year ago and Abi had yet to get her first. We decided it was time to get their hair evened out. My sister in law Katie cut the girls hair, she is an awesome hair stylist and I feel so lucky to have her as part of our family!

 Katie before.

Katie went first and enjoyed the attention of getting her hair done and being pampered a bit.

Abi's before pictures

Abi on the other hand wasn't to sure about getting a hair cut. She had a pretty pouty face till the very end.

I love her little pink chucks sticking out from under the cape.

Here is an after picture of the girls. I know it's not very good but they would not sit still!

Thanks Aunt Katie for the hair cuts!

Mom and Dads 40th Anniversary March 11, 2012

Nov. 14th 1971 (my dads birthday) my dad proposed to my mom. Of course she said "yes" then she asked "When should we get married?" my Dad replied "I was thinking March 11th". Mom said, "Thats my Birthday!" He said "I know." I think my parents engagement is a funny little story. My siblings and I planned a little anniversary party just for them and their family. It was a fun evening.

My parents cutting their wedding cake. The original faded version we had hanging up when I was a child.

The remastered version. The colors were done all wrong. The table cloth should be white the back ground green my dads suit black and the flowers and bows on the cake should be yellow.

My friend Kristin made this cake for the occasion. I love the wedding picture next to it.

Our big family table, my sister-in-law made the cute topiary centerpieces.

March 2012 Snow. The last snow of the season.

Yay for more snow. We got out the two days it snowed in march, my girls loved the snow so much. I enjoyed it too! Maybe next winter we will have to try out snowshoeing!
The first day we made a pair of snow men. (March 1st.)
Katie's gloves were a bit big.

I love this picture of Abi digging into the snow.

Watch out Abi may throw a snow ball at you!

Our two snow men in the process.
Abi liked to pack snow on anywhere.  Katie found a stick she is placing the snowman's arm in a funny place.

Our snowman couple. We never did get around to putting faces on them.

The second day of snow I decided I wanted to see how big I could get a snow ball, then I did two more. The girls enjoyed climbing on top of them. (March 7th)

CHEESE!!!
