TWO!

Last week Katie turned two years old. On her birthday the poor girl had her 2 year old check up and got 2 vaccinations which caused a fever for one day what a birthday. Has she hit her terrible twos? you ask, well yes, a while ago I would say. She can throw a tantrum with the best of them and she refuses to eat for at least two meals a day. Katie is also very sweet much of the time, she loves to give Abi kisses and hugs to her daddy, mommy gets them to sometimes but she is a daddy's girl. Her favorite gifts seem to be the vetrinary and doctor toys she got, and also the step stool for the bathroom (she will wash her hands or brush her teeth for a very long time just so she can stand on it). We had a party on Saturday night and enjoyed pizza, cake, and a pinata with family and friends.

Cake courtesy of Kristin. Thanks is so cute!

She was ready for gifts right away.

Her pinata, yes it's a tank, she picked it out. Silly girl!

Yay for presants.

2 months

Abigail is 2 months old and has big smiles when she is in a good mood. She was a rather onery little one for awhile, we found she has acid reflux and after she was on antacids for a little while she is a much happier baby. She doesn't like tummy time and fusses nearly every time I lay her on her stomach but she has to deal with it for a little while every day. Some days Abi isn't to sure of her big sis and all the kisses she gets but deals with it very well. I love that she is a pretty good sleeper. She wakes on an average twice a night to eat and get a diaper change. Katie still wakes up more than that wanting a drink. We love our little Abi and are enjoying watching her do new things, she is a cutie!

Family Pictures 2009

On Saturday morning we went to Target to get Family Pictures done as well as some pictures of our girls. It started out well and we thought we had some good pictures but we soon found out the cable that sends the pictures from the camera to the computer had stopped working and we lost more than half our shoot. So we re-shot some but by then the girls were tired and not cooperating any longer. Oh well here are some of the pictures.
Katie was so excited to hold Abi although Abi was sad about it.

I think this is a cute picture but John doesn't like crying pictures.

Halloween 2009

We attended the 5th annual Rynearson Halloween Party this year and are proud to say we've attended all 5 of them. We enjoyed being with friends. On Halloween we went to our wards trunk or treat I handed out candy and help Abigail while John took Katie around to get some candy. John thought he would have to hold her candy bucket when it got to heavy but once Katie realized she was getting candy in it she held it tight and wouldn't let go. We left a bit early to go to dinner with John's brother Bobby and his friend Emily we then went home and enjoyed watching The Three Amigo's which was appropriate for our costumes.

John and I were Mexicans and our girls were skeletons.
