Fabric Recycling: A suit for Jack

My Nephew, Jack turned 1 at the end of July and I had seen this cute idea to attach a vest to a onsie. My dad had an old pair of dress pants he was getting rid of so I used them to make this cute outfit. The vest idea was from B is for Boy and the Pants are the Kid Pants tutorial from Made I just sized them down a bit although they ended up a bit long.

Jack in his suit. What a handsome little guy!

Church History Musesm

If you are looking for some free fun to do with your kids I highly recomend heading downtown to the Church History Museum. We met my sister and her family one morning and had a good time.

Katie steering the boat.

Abi through a window in the boat. I love that cute silly smile!

Katie fishing.

Abi and daddy had fun building with gigantic blocks.

Another Abi smile!

Katie and Abi feeding the Missionaries.
(If you look on the wall there are missionaries at the table. )

Katie put on a skirt and was dacing. What a beautiful girl she is!

A couple pictures of the temple.
The trees were in full blossom.
Down town is changing with the city creek center project. It seems so different from when I was working down town every day five years ago. It was a lot of fun to head down town for a morning.

Halloween 2010

We enjoyed a ward Halloween party and a very wet trunk or treat for festivities this year. We also spent time with family. Here are some pictures from Halloween this year...
Pumpkins all of which my dad grew in his garden this year.

My sisters kids and my girls.

Johns mom was at the Huntmans Center for a few days one of which was Halloween we got dressed up and visited her a couple times.
The girls love running around the patio outside the windows.
The back of their Tinkerbell costumes.

I love Katies yelling face in this one.

At home we got some more pictures. The girls were very cute in their costumes.
Yup I was Tinkerbell too! So three Tinkerbells and John was one of Captain Hooks fellow pirates.
