Last Monday Sept. 27 Katie took her first 3 unassisted steps and since then she has been working on getting more stable. She can walk a good 10 steps and is cruising with little help all over the place. Before we know it she'll be running. She also has gotten three more teeth so now she has five, three on top and two on bottom. One of those teeth broke through when our new little walking baby toppled and hit her swollen gums, there was some bleeding and pain but it was the fastest tooth thats come through. Katie wants to be done with baby food she would rather eat finger food or what John and I are having. We are going to finish what baby food we have and be done with it. She is really growing up fast.
Wednesday of last week Johns mom came home from the hospital. She is glad to be home and we and our gas budget are glad we don't have so far to drive to see her. She seems to be doing ok although her sleep isn't very consistent. This Wednesday she gets staples and drains removed. We again are grateful for everyone who has kept her in their prayers.

Wow! She is getting so big. I can't believe she is starting to walk!
She is so cute! Still no hair yet huh? You are not going to have any peace for much longer now that she is up and moving about.
WOW, I can't believe she is already walking! How fun for you!!! I love the picture of her with her tongue sticking out, that is priceless!
I can hardly believe she's walking. If she doesn't have a binki in her mouth she has her tongue out. And Emily we haven't had peace for awhile now she is a mover always busy with something.
Oh geez- I knew I was going to miss out on this one! She'll be running around and ready to take off with Aunt Kris on her own adventures when I get home. Wahoo!!
