Little Dr. Abi April 2012

Our little Abi loves to play Dr. 

This day her patient was Katie's toy horse. 

She listened to his heart (which is apparently on his lower back) 

and then looked in his ears and eyes.

Abi then decided he needed shots...... quite a few of them. 

After that the Horse got a band-aide and he was all better! 

She is such a good little Dr.!!!

Backwards Day April 19, 2012

Katie has a great pre-school we love the teachers they are so awesome and have all sorts of fun days and activities. The school is called Early Scholars and is run by two sisters, Miss Becky and Miss Lisa. 

Backwards days was one of the fun days they had. Katie enjoyed backwards day for the most part, her pants were driving her crazy and she refused to put her shoes on the wrong feet, but she went with it. I did her hair upside down and I think it turned out pretty cute!

Our Little Bird Watchers April 2012

When we visit Papa Hughes and Uncle Bobby my girls always find something fun to play with. This day it was binoculars and Uncle Bobby's hats. They looked like cute little bird watchers!

Hair April 2012

Now that my girls have more hair I love to play with it! I love braiding their hair and most of the time they cooperate. For Katie I tried to copy a braid I saw here . This was Abi's first french braid.

 Katie is hard on clothes. It frustrates me because I want Abi to be able to use them when she is bigger. Katie put holes in these pants a couple weeks after they were bought so I decided to patch them I think they turned out pretty cute and now Abi can use them in a year or so too!

Silly Girls April 2012

I love these girls they are so fun and silly. They are learning so much and are smart little ones, it's fun to watch them growing up. I will miss them being little!

Easter 2012

We had a fun Easter this year ...

Leading up to Easter we spent some time talking about the resurrection with the girls. I pray as the grow up they will have a good relationship with the Savior and their Heavenly Father, and that they will feel comfort when praying and repenting. I am so grateful for the sacrifice Christ made for each of us, although we may make mistakes we can repent and become worthy to return to our Heavenly Father and live as Families forever.
We enjoyed celebrating Easter and Springtime with Friends and Family....

Egg Hunt with Friends

Our friend Anmy had a fun little egg hunt for the kids. They had a lot of fun, Katie found the golden egg and was very excited! It was great to have a small egg hunt with just a few friends, the big community ones sound  like they are packed with people and crazy!

The Saturday before Easter we had and egg hunt with the Nolan cousins. Yay for more candy!!! The girls had a great time with their cousins.

Easter Baskets

The Easter bunny knew the girls got tons of candy already so he brought them each a chocolate bunny but that was all for candy. They also got books, slippers, sidewalk chalk, notepads, and awesome sunglasses. Poor Katie had a terrible cold on Easter, then Abi had it the next week. That's how it goes around here.

I made skirts for the girls for Easter this year. Actually I made Katie's for her last birthday but added the bunny for Easter and I had enough fabric left to make a skirt for Abi too! 

The hair clips are from the Easter Bunny too!
