New Callings
It was just about a year ago John and I moved back into the ward I grew up in and we were called to be nursery leaders. We have enjoyed spending time with the little kidos from the ward and getting to know them. It will be really nice that when Katie is 18 months old we won't be her teachers. We have been called to team teach Gospel Doctrine, I'm so glad we are teaching together I think I'd be too nervous to teach alone. I never have taught adults, I've taught primary, young womens, and nursery but never adults. I'll have to learn how to fill time without snaks or a coloring page. John also recieved a second calling as the coach for the young men, I think he will really enjoy it although he's never been involved in sports much himself. Katie and I will enjoy cheering the team on. We are excited for our new callings and look forward to the many things we'll learn.

Sniffling and Sneezing in the New Year.
So after the Christmas festivities were ended we all got sick. John and I first with colds (oh how I hate being stuffed up), then poor little Katie with a tummy bug plus some teething. She is finely feeling a little better. With all our illness we stayed home for New Years and went to bed early. John and I aren't ones to set resolutions we just plan to keep doing our best in all aspects of our lives.
Here's few pictures of Katie on New Years day.
Father time brought her some crayons to go with the coloring book Santa gave her.
She has yet to get the hang of coloring.
Katie actually gave me a smile and looked at the camera. Isn't she cute!
