Party!

We attended a birthday party for our friends the little boy Issac. He is now one! It was space themed and a bunch of fun.

Kristin (the mommy) made this moon cake. It is super adorable, and it was yummy too!

I thought it was funny that he was looking right at me while Kristin was trying to get a picture.

We got to decorate cupcakes. Katie would decorate hers then lick it off and decorate it again. Here it has m&m's marshmallows and a star burst.

Issac thought the cake was yummy too!

Spending time with my Girl Friends!

I'm very lucky to have some great girlfriends. I've known Kristin and Anmy since elementary, Kristiana since junior high and Rachel for more than 5 years.

Kristiana works in Antarctica for part of the year and calls Colorado her other residence but she always comes out to Utah when she can. When she's around we pack in as much time together as possible.

I was excited she was here Friday for Abi's party and that began a busy weekend. I skipped out on a sleep over because of Abi's party and the clean up that followed. Saturday morning I met up with the girls for breakfast at Kneaders and afterwards we were able to take some pictures. That same afternoon we went to the Beehive Tea Room, Kris's treat for our birthdays. My little family skipped out on a game night because we all came down with colds and felt cruddy. Sadly we gave the cold to everyone else. SORRY! Then Labor day was a free day at Red Butte Garden so those who could headed there for a picnic and a walk around the garden. It was a busy but wonderful weekend!

Playing catch up: Babies!

Since the new year rang in I've had two friends have baby boy's. Yay for friends for Abi!

Anmy and Tom welcomed Liam on Jan. 28th. He weighed 6 lbs. 15oz and was 21 inches long.

Kristin and Enochs little boy Issac entered the world March 7th weighing 6 lbs. 12 oz and was 20.5 inches long.

These two boys are so stinkin cute. I'm so excited to see my friends become parents!

Anmy and Kristin you are great mommies, I look forward to raising our children as friends.

Hope you had a great Halloween! We did!

We enjoyed our Halloween weekend. Friday night we went to our ward buildings Trunk or treat Kristin and Enoch shared our trunk. Katie enjoyed seeing all the kids come by but wasn't sure why the costumes, I was glad that the costumes didn't scare her. She didn't do any trunk or treating, like an 11 month old needs candy. On Saturday we headed down to Provo for Skip and Rachel's Halloween party. We had fun seeing friends and eating good food. Asher was very interested in Katie but with Katie walking and new place to explore she was more interested in walking around.
