The State Fair

Yes I know the fair was a while ago but I've been busy and don't always have time to upload pictures or make a post. Anyway...

We went to the fair twice this year and Katie loved it! If she sees a white canopy she says, "Its the Fair!" She loved the animals and ice cream. Abi seemed to enjoy it too, we have no pictures of her because she was in a back pack carrier the whole time. Here are some pictures...

Ya sea lions at the fair, we didn't get pictures with them or watch their show but they were interesting.

Deep fried chocolate cover bacon, on a stick!!! No we didn't try it, food at the fair is expensive.

Johns dad is always willing to come help us with whatever we need and is also a well of information. He is also great with kids and is wonderful with little Katie, he gets down on the floor to play with her and she loves it!

Although we don't make it down to Scipio as often as we'd like, when we do we love being with Grandpa Jay. Katie loves following Great grandpa as he does his chores, the cows are very interesting!
